Get Duplicate bill of PTCL Landline on Internet
PTCL has introduced this new service, which allows its customers to get duplicate copy of monthly PTCL landline bill via web.
You need to enter telephone number and Account ID (which can be found on monthly bills).
Point your browsers here: http://dbill.ptcl.net.pk
You will be able to download PDF file of bill – that you can download and save or get it printed.
Launch of this service save customer’s time, where now it’s not necessary for customer to visit PTCL OSS or other office to receive a duplicate bill in case they do not receive their phone bill.
Privacy Issues:
Make sure that your monthly bill doesn’t touch unsafe hands, or your account ID will get revealed. And anyone will be able to download your monthly bill – and can find out your bill details,
PTCL should have provided customers with password/key pin type of thing, so that a customer can change these credentials at his/her will.
Update
Okay we have tested this service, and all you need is the Phone Number (without Account ID) and it will give you all billing details, owner name, address information.
This is a serious loophole – and one can wonder how PTCL people didn’t notice it before going live with the service.

Dear Sir,
With reference to above noted subject, I have to state as follows:-
1. That it is submitted that the above-mentioned connection have been installed at our above mentioned premises in the month of March 2010, and DSL Broadband has also been installed.
2. That at the time of installation, I have filed all the required documents for student package of DSL Broadband, before your honour, i.e. I have stated that my one son and one daughter, my son has already enrolled with Government Mono Technic Institute, Landhi, relating to Associate Engineer and also enrolled with Sindh University related to B.Com First Part, documentary evidence have also provided before your honour at the time of installation.
My daughter is already enrolled with Sindh University related to B.Com 2nd Year, her documentary evidence have also been provided at the time of installation of DSL Broadband, however bill has been issued by PTCL on normal basis at Rs.3,080/- for two months, this is completely illegal, therefore bill may please be revised and corrected. Photocopy of aforesaid bill is herewith enclosed marked as annexure A & B.
3. Your office staff has been stated that your case is qualified under the student package basis, however, bill has been issued on normal provision this is unfair and unjust.
4. That presently I am quite helpless as well as hopeless regarding money. My financial condition is not sound. I am not serving in any organization regularly. It may not be out of place to mention here that in spite of having son and daughter the same compulsion is continued till now.
5. I was installed DLS Broadband on the basis of my above mentioned children for education purpose and not for any business purpose, therefore bill may please be revised and correct on the basis of educational purposes, otherwise, DSL Broad band may please be disconnected from today, because of that I could not afford on the huge amount.
6. That I have received bill for the month of June 2010, which is showing amounting at Rs.3,080/-. Previous bill has not been issued by the PTCL Department. You are therefore, humbly requested that aforesaid amount may please be assessed in Student Package Basis, enabling me to pay the same conveniently.
It is therefore requested and in the light of above mentioned circumstances, bill may please be corrected and revised as per student package, or otherwise DLS broadband may please be disconnected from today, and outstanding dues at Rs.3,080/- may please be assessed in two installment for earlier payment.

We are not receiving our Original telephone bill for the Couple of four months.
